To facilitate ease of doing business in the State, the Commissioner of Taxes has announced that the State Taxes Department, Nagaland, has developed application software for Registration and Payment of Profession Tax.
The registration software has been rolled out with effect from 1st October 2025 and is available on the Department’s website at www. nagalandtax. nic.in for access by all concerned.
All persons liable for registration and payment of Profession Tax are directed to register or enrol themselves, as applicable.
A step-by-step process flow for registration and enrolment, details of the class of persons, applicable rates of Profession Tax, and helpdesk information will be available on the website for assistance and guidance.
