A community marketing shed was inaugurated at Losatephe Junction in Phek district on August 2. The shed was jointly constructed by the village councils of Losami and Losatephe.
The inauguration was carried out by Zechete Mekrisuh, chairman of the Losami Village Council, while the dedication prayer was offered by Kesowe Mekrisuh, pastor of Losami Baptist Church.
Speaking at the event, Zechete Mekrisuh urged villagers to make the best use of the facility and to maintain cleanliness at the site.
The land for the marketing shed was donated by the children of Late Kedutsolo Swuro and Late Chusenyi Swuro, whose contribution was acknowledged during the programme.
The event was chaired by Pfutsukolo Akami, secretary of the Losami Village Development Board (VDB), and the vote of thanks was proposed by Keduzo Swuro, Head GB of Losatephe.
