Speaking at a brief inaugural program, Tongpang Ozükum appreciated the workmanship of the architects stating that such a beautifully built spacious building could be constructed in what looked to be a small space.

Sharing his opinion on the ULB (Urban Local Bodies) elections, the minister said that urban centers that want to hold the polls should be allowed to do so, while those that do not want to should not be compelled to.

He went on to say that conducting ULB elections offers a lot of advantages and developmental avenues, adding that without ULBs Governmental funding becomes restricted and that Ministers/MLAs alone cannot do much. He opined that Mokokchung district should also move ahead in tandem with the rest of the state.

The construction report was given by Dr. Meyiwati, Convener, while Alempang Ward chairman Lemasashi presented the vote of thanks.
