The All-India Congress Committee (AICC) on Friday approved the constitution of a Core Committee of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC). According to a press release issued by AICC General Secretary (Organisation) KC Venugopal, the Core Committee will comprise KL Chishi, SI Jamir, ET Ezung, Takamasa, Shami Angh, Zaculhu, and Seyiekoulie. The appointments take effect immediately.
The Congress President has also approved the appointment of Akunonuo Miachieo as General Secretary of NPCC with immediate effect.
