Under the category of Economic Empowerment, the Mahila Congress underscored the consistent price rise and the failure of the government to regulate the prices of essential commodities such as LPG gas, edible oils, food grains, groceries, milk etc. is severely affecting the nutrition of the entire family.

It called for the need for those commodities’ prices to be regulated and controlled on an emergency basis, providing substantial subsidies on the same.

They also advocated for equal pay for equal work, aiming to bridge the gender pay gap documented in the World Inequality Report 2022.
