Mokokchung, February 3 (MTNews): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee will release its first phase of candidates on Saturday, according to Watimongba Aier, President of District Congress Committee (DCC), Mokokchung. According to Aier, while some candidates have been confirmed for Mokokchung, more are still awaited. He did, however, add that the Congress will not contest in all the 60 assembly constituencies for the upcoming general elections.
Meanwhile, Tsuknung Jamir, National People’s Party (NPP) Mokokchung unit president, stated that the party will announce its list of candidates on Monday or Tuesday, February 6 or 7. He stated that the party expects to field 5 and above for Mokokchung District alone.
