The NPCC president in his congratulatory note to the Karnataka Congress said, “We belong to a party that took up the challenge to rebuilt India after Independence to a united and progressive nation; we belong to a party that refuses to give up upon facing any hurdle; we are a party that will rise from the ashes like a phoenix and all this is possible because of the unending support from the people.”

Stating that the people of Karnataka have shown that they will no longer accept governance on the narratives of divisive politics and corruption, he viewed that “when every strata of society comes together there is nothing that cannot be achieved.”

The NPCC president then urged each and every citizen to take the victory in Karnataka as the beginning of the ‘New India’. “Change is driven by everyday people like you and I,” he stated and asked whether the Nagas could take “a page of learning from the Karnataka chapter.”

The president on behalf of the NPCC congratulated the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of the Karnataka Congress stating that their actions have “inspired us to dream more, learn more, do more and become more.”

“We have witnessed a positive change which I believe will kick off a chain reaction to work towards the change we need,” the president added.
