A new Covid-19 positive case has been detected in Dimapur, according to the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare. The patient, who is mildly symptomatic, is currently under home isolation and being closely monitored, informed Dr. Mereninla Senle, Director of Health and Family Welfare.
The department stated that the currently circulating variants of Covid-19 are mild, typically causing symptoms such as fever, cough, and sore throat, which ”usually subsides on its own.”
While confirming the case, the Health Department urged the public not to panic and to continue following Covid-19 appropriate behaviours.
