The Chakhroma Public Organization (CPO) has issued a directive to all villages under its jurisdiction to extend full cooperation to the Nagaland Police Department in implementing the newly launched mobile applications — Tenant Registration App and Hotel Registration App.

As per the directive, all house owners renting out premises, as well as hotels, guest houses, resorts, homestays and B&Bs, must register and submit the details of their tenants and guests through the apps.

The CPO stated that the initiative is expected to bring several positive outcomes, including enhanced security and monitoring for both landowners and tenants, and improved coordination with the police for Inner Line Permit (ILP) compliance and law-and-order purposes.

Urging its constituent villages, landowners, tenants, hotel owners and other stakeholders to take the directive seriously, the CPO called for timely registration to ensure smooth implementation.
