Kohima, 12 March (MTNews): Following the termination of the contract services of the two allegedly illegally appointed JSCO from the Directorate of Soil and Water Conservation, the Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) has called off their agitation today.

Sushil Kumar Patel IAS, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Nagaland in an order dated 12 March stated that H Agape Yeputhomi and Avilie Nagi, as per the notification on 9 October, will be terminated with effect from 7 March 2024.

The CTAN organization acknowledged the prompt response and action taken by the Directorate and has announced the immediate cessation of the agitation planned in response to the non-compliance issue.

“We appreciate the commitment demonstrated by the Directorate of Soil and Water Conservation in rectifying the situation. CTAN recognizes the importance of maintaining open communication channels and fostering collaboration between organizations for the greater good,” added CTAN and sought for continued cooperation in addressing any future concerns that may arise.
