Mokokchung, April 27 (MTNews): Prof. M. Rongsen, who was among the first batch of students to graduate in 1976 delivered the inaugural public lecture on “Faithfulness of God in the Life of Clark Theological College” on 26th April 2022 in the Multi-Purpose Hall, initiated by the CTC 50TH Anniversary Celebration Committee. In his welcome and introduction, the Principal of the College, Prof. A. Temjen Jamir said that Prof. Rongsen was among the first batch to join Clark Theological College in 1972 and graduated in 1976.
Later, he joined Clark Theological College as faculty in 1992 after rich experiences in Church ministry. He retired from active teaching ministry in 2017 as Professor of Christian Ethics and Social Analysis. Prof. Rongsen is an Ordained Minister and a sound theological educator. He is a prolific writer and author of several books and resourceful articles, the Principal said. In his concluding remark, Prof. Rongsen challenged the august house by saying, “We are all privileged to serve an institution which is being taken care of by God Himself. Therefore, all of us must be careful and sincere to do our responsibilities realizing that we are all co-workers with God who is actively taking part in the running of CTC.”
The Clark community thanked Prof. Rongsen for delivering a thought provoking Lecture where he illuminated their “understanding of CTC identity, history and belief, fearlessly and with clarity, touching on issues and concerns that illustrate the Faithfulness of God in the Life of CTC.” The first public lecture was attended by faculty members, research scholars, students and well-wishers of Clark Theological College.
Clark Theological College offers Bachelor of Divinity, Master of Theology in Old Testament, New Testament, Christian Theology, Christian Ethics, Pastoral Counselling, Christian Education, Communication and Doctor of Theology in Communication. CTC will be celebrating 50th Anniversary on the 10th of November 2022. This was stated in an official communique.
