Mokokchung, October 25 (MTNews): In one of its latest updates, the Indian Meteorological Department has informed that cyclonic storm ‘Sitrang’ has weakened into depression over northeast Bangladesh and neighborhoods and has moved north-northeastward which further weakened into a Well-Marked Low Pressure Area.
It lay centered over northeast Bangladesh and adjoining Meghalaya at 8: 30 AM and was expected to continue to move north-northeast wards and weaken into a low pressure area during next 6 hours.
However, heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Nagaland, IMD reported.
