T he Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire has invited objections from the public regarding a proposal to change the nomenclature of Pungren village to “Pongren” under the jurisdiction of the Extra Assistant Commissioner, Longmatra Circle.
According to a public notice issued by Deputy Commissioner Temsuwati Longkumer, individuals, clans or organizations having objections to the proposed change may submit them in writing to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, within 30 days from the date of issuance of the notice.
The notice stated that objections received after the stipulated period will not be entertained.
