Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung has informed the public of Mokokchung District that as per Home Department Office Memorandum, the National Database of Arms License (NDAL) has been reopened. Therefore, all arms license holders who are yet to obtain the Unique Identification Number (UIN) for their arms license have been informed to do so from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung till 31st March 2023.
“It is to inform that without the Unique Identification Number (UIN), all arms license will be rendered invalid. Therefore, all concerned are requested to apply for UIN within the stipulated time,” DC Mokokchung informed in a circular.
It was further informed that forms for arms license UIN can be collected and submitted at the office of the Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung along with the required documents – Original Arms License, Residential Proof and Birth certificate (Xerox copy).
