Mokokchung, 6 September (MTNews): Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, has issued a notification regarding blasting of stones in the Angetyongpang Tzü River area for the construction of a two-lane road between DEF church and Yisemyong at NH-02.
JKM Infra Works LLP, a construction company from Guwahati, Assam, has been granted permission to carry out blasting of stones for the road widening project. The scheduled blasting will occur on 8 September 2023, between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
To ensure the safety and security of the public and their properties, the following conditions have been set: The contractor, JKM Infra Works LLP, must take all necessary precautions to safeguard the lives and properties of those using the road. The company is required to adhere to all relevant rules and regulations of the Explosives Act/Rule, 2008. JKM Infra Works LLP will be held responsible for any damage to life and property resulting from the blasting.
This permit is valid only for the specified date, i.e., 8 September 2023.
