Mokokchung, 28 July (MTNews): Concerning the ongoing construction of a two-lane road between DEF Church and Yisemyong at NH- 02 in the Angetyongpang Tzu River area, the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Poji, has granted permission to the JKM Infra Works, a construction company based in Guwahati, Assam, to conduct stone blasting at the project site. The blasting is scheduled to take place on 30 July 2023, between 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the contractor, JKM Infra Works, must prioritize the protection of life and property of those utilizing the road in the vicinity of the construction site and have been asked to adhere to all the relevant rules and regulations outlined in the Explosives Act/Rules of 2008. The validity of the permit is solely restricted to the specified date, 30th July 2023.
