The circular stated that the bridge is presently motorable for light vehicles only. All commuters, vehicle owners and drivers have been advised to maintain a safe speed, avoid overloading and use the bridge with due caution and necessary safety measures.

The DC also requested the public to extend their cooperation and comply with the advisory in the interest of safety and disaster risk reduction.

It may be mentioned that following heavy rain upstream on 19 July 2026, the bridge collapsed, completely cutting off the surrounding villages.

With the timely intervention of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Noklak, Road & Bridge Department (R&B), and the Village Councils of Lengnyu and Tsuwao, a temporary wooden bridge measuring 57 feet long and 10 feet wide was constructed within a short period.
