Noklak, 12 July (MTNews): In view of the monsoon season, Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DDMA Noklak, Arikumba, has issued an advisory urging the public to take necessary precautions and stay well-informed about potential risks and safety measures. The advisory aims to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents during this period of heavy rainfall and inclement weather.

 

One of the key recommendations put forth by the Deputy Commissioner is for individuals to stay informed and updated about weather conditions and forecasts. Being aware of the weather patterns will help people make informed decisions and take appropriate measures to safeguard themselves and their families, he said.

 

Avoiding flooded areas is another crucial precautionary measure highlighted in the advisory. Arikumba emphasized that during heavy rainfall, it is important to refrain from wading through floodwaters and exercise extreme caution when crossing bridges or moving near water bodies.

 

The advisory also stressed the need for caution while traveling, particularly on roads that are susceptible to flooding or landslides.
