The Debate Club of Nagaland University’s Kohima Campus held its 2nd Talk Sophos Program on 21 November 2025 under the theme “Youth Identity in the Making: Navigating Between Media and Cultural Heritage”, with Dr. Theyiesinuo Keditsu, Assistant Professor, Kohima College, as the resource person.

A total of 86 participants attended the program. Chaired by G. Samuel, the event began with a welcome note delivered by Narola Chuba, Convenor of the Debate Club.

Prof. N. Venuh, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Kohima Campus, Nagaland University, delivered greetings and emphasized the importance of engaging in open discourse, encouraging the club to continue growing.

In the Keynote Address, the resource person discussed how media shapes identity and highlighted the significance of cultural heritage in guiding youth development.

A special performance by Manong Y. Konyak and Meyisor L. Longkumer added melody to the event. The Q&A session, moderated by Shalo Kent, witnessed active participation and meaningful interaction with the speaker. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by T. Lingcholi Sangtam.
