Mokokchung, February 5 (MTNews): Declaration of candidature cum prayer program for Imnatiba, NDPP candidate from 22 Arkakong Assembly Constituency for the upcoming Nagaland general elections was held on 4 February in Changtongya Town. In his address, Imnatiba mentioned the trust shown and the opportunity given to him by the NDPP President Chingwang Konyak, NDPP Secretary General Abu Metha and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, and the support shown to him in the past by constituency villages.
As per a report from Media Cell, NDPP, 22 Arkakong Constituency, he encouraged the people to come together once again in the same manner and work hand in hand “so that he may receive the opportunity to be a part of the ruling government in the upcoming 14th NLA Election and to serve the constituency.”
The program was chaired by the President, NDPP 22 Arkakong Constituency. Welcome note was delivered by the Changtongya Village Council, short speech by the NDPP units of Yaongyimsen, Akhoya, Unger, Nükshiyim, Liroyim, Changtongya Yimsen and Changtongya Town.
OL Yanger, Vice President, BJP Mokokchung District and N Bendang Jamir, President NDPP, Mokokchung Region delivered words of encouragement. The program started with a prayer by Rev Temshi, Pastor, CTBA, while Rev Lipok, Pastor, NCRC Changtongya Town said the benediction prayer.
