The Delhi Ao Kaketshir Telongjem (DAKT) held its Annual General Body Meeting (GBM) on April 25, 2025, at the Yamuna RWA Office, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The meeting saw the nomination of 22 new office bearers who will serve the Union for the 2025–2026 term.


Yimjungjungshi Sanglir from Molungyimsen Village was renominated as President for a second consecutive term. In his address, he attributed the Union’s achievements to the grace and guidance of God and expressed deep gratitude to all well-wishers for their prayers and support. He also acknowledged the unity and dedication of his colleagues, emphasizing the importance of continued prayers as the new team prepares for upcoming challenges, including the Jubilee celebration later this year. Sanglir encouraged all Ao students in Delhi to register with DAKT, remain united, and be a source of pride for their community.

The meeting featured reports from various secretaries highlighting a successful tenure, including a significant rise in student registrations, impactful initiatives like the Admission Help Desk benefiting over 100 students, and support activities ranging from medical assistance to cultural events.

Outgoing office bearers were also felicitated, with Dr. Imkongmeren Longchar, General Secretary of Delhi Ao Senso Telongjem (DAST), delivering a message of encouragement to the new team.
