The Department of Art and Culture has extended its heartfelt appreciation to the 18 cultural troupes from across Nagaland for their captivating performances at the Hornbill Festival 2024. The department praised their dedication in showcasing the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the state, acknowledging their role in making this year’s festival a resounding success.

The department also extended its thanks to the two host village organizations, Phesama Village Students’ Union and Kigwema Village Students’ Union, for their warm hospitality and invaluable support in providing accommodation and catering services to the cultural troupes ensuring that the care and warmth provided brought out the best in their performances.

The department further extended a special note of appreciation to the officers and staff of the Department of Art and Culture.

*Their commitment, sincerity and teamwork in carrying out their assigned duties were integral to the seamless execution of the daily cultural program and other festival related activities,” it said. The Department also acknowledged the invaluable services rendered by the Comperes in presenting the daily cultural programs with fervour and clarity.
