Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton has issued a statement expressing his condolences on the passing of Alienba Jamir, who died at the age of 95 in Asangma Village today. Alienba Jamir was the father of Pangjung Jamir, MLA and Advisor.
In his message, Deputy CM Patton said, “I am sending my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. The loss of a parent is one of life’s most challenging experiences. I understand that he must have been a remarkable man and his legacy lives on through you and the values he instilled.”
“During this time of mourning, I hope you can find comfort in the memories you shared with your father. The love between a parent and child is eternal, transcending even death,” added Patton.
Advisor, IPR and Soil & Water Conservation, Imkong Imchen, condoled the demise of Alienba Jamir. In a condolence message to Pangjung Jamir, Imchen stated that he was saddened to learn of the demise of his father. He said that Pangjung’s father had made everyone one of them proud through his love and wisdom. Imkong added that Alienba had lived a contented life with good health.
The Advisor hoped that the Almighty God would grant solace to the bereaved family and that the departed soul rest in peace.
