Wokha, 6 October (MTNews): Deputy Chief Minister of Home & Border Affairs, Y Patton, officially inaugurated the Sub-Divisional Planning & Development Board (SDPDB) in Bhandari yesterday. During his address, Patton highlighted the significance of this inauguration for the people of Bhandari, marking the realization of their aspirations and initiatives aimed at enhancing the community’s welfare. He emphasized that Bhandari’s progress is vital for the entire Lotha community and stressed the importance of community involvement in achieving developmental goals.
Patton expressed his gratitude to the people of Bhandari for their support, participation, and cooperation, emphasizing the shared responsibility and common good for all in fostering growth and development within the constituency.
MLA of 40-Bhandari Assembly Constituency, Achumbemo Kikon, hailed the day as a Red-Letter Day and underscored that the creation of the Sub-Divisional Planning and
Development Board is a significant step toward achieving the long-awaited aspiration of Bhandari’s citizens to attain district status.
Advisor for Agriculture and Chairman of DPDB Wokha, Mhathung Yanthan, and MLA Y Mhonbemo Humtsoe also addressed the gathering.
Additionally, four NPSC Achievers from Bhandari in 2023 were felicitated during the event.
