Sharma emphasized that this warning comes as a final notice, saying, “I have warned before, but now I am warning for one last time. Those who are involved in drugs and alcohol, we will terminate your service. You may not like it, but we will take action. Families should also be aware if anyone they know is engaging in such activities.”

He further added, “We will show no mercy,” underscoring the seriousness of the matter. Sharma made it clear that finding suitable replacements for officers dismissed due to substance abuse would not pose a challenge, as there are many capable candidates available.

In conclusion, Sharma urged caution among officers regarding drug and alcohol use, reaffirming that the consequences for those caught would be severe. He stressed that any such behaviour would not be tolerated within the Nagaland police force.
