Mokokchung, May 22 (MTNews): The Director of Higher Education, Nagaland has in a notification cautioned B.Ed. and M.Ed. course aspirants that there are advertisements being circulated by various agencies through different social media platforms including Newspapers. In this respect, intending candidates desirous of undergoing those programs have been cautioned that only the B.Ed or M.Ed Degrees from NCTE recognized Institutes and Universities are valid and recognized, be it for undergoing further studies or for appointments in Schools, Colleges and Universities.
“Hence, intending candidates are to verify recognition status of the institutions ONLY through the official website of the NCTE before taking admission. Aspiring candidates undergoing the above mentioned Programs in Non-Recognized Institutions will be doing so at their own risk,” it was informed.
It was further informed that the list of NCTEs recognized under the different Regional Committees of the NCTE-Eastern Regional Committee (ERC), Southern Regional Committee (SRC), Northern Regional Committee (NRC) and Western Regional Committee (WRC) are notified through the official Website of the NCTE (https://ncte.gov.in/Website/Index.aspx).
