Following the project’s inauguration, Special Guest W. Manpai Phom, the Administrator of DMC, commended the Students’ Council for their groundbreaking initiative. He expressed confidence that the newly established drinking water facility would effectively cater to the needs of the students, particularly in the humid climate of Dimapur. Taking the platform, the DMC Administrator announced that DMC is working to make Dimapur a Plastic Free City in 90 days.

The event was chaired by Dr Vinyuhu Lhoungu, Coordinator, IQAC, DGC and invocation was done by Sedevino Jakhalu, Assoc. Prof & HoD, Political Science Department. The National Cadet Corps of DGC sung the college anthem and the closing remark was done by Dr Vinyuhu Lhoungu, Coordinator, IQAC, DGC.
