Dimapur, 16 November (MTNews): Naga Chef Season 10 commenced at the State Institute of Hotel Management, Dimapur, on November 16. Naga Chef is the premier culinary competition in Nagaland with the aim of promoting Naga indigenous cuisine and providing an entrepreneurial platform for upcoming Naga chefs. The annual event is organized by Synergy Group Enterprise and supported by the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland.
Fourteen participants, selected after the screening round, will now be tested on both their culinary and entrepreneurial skills throughout the competition. The judges for the first round were Alemjungla Jamir, Founder of Naga Bowl Express, Indranil Roychowdhary, Principal of SIHM, and Mrs. Sentila T Yanger, Padma Shri Awardee and State Convener of INTACH Nagaland Chapter.
The winner of Naga Chef Season 10 will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 3 lakhs.
