Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, along with the Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, is set to inaugurate the Integrated Business Hub and Innovation Center (IBH & IC) on 13 March 2024 in Dimapur. According to a report from the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), the Government of Nagaland will represent a milestone in Dimapur leading the way in Nagaland’s journey towards becoming a hub of innovation and enterprise.
The report further stated that the IBH & IC is poised to support startups, entrepreneurs, and businesses in realizing their potential and contributing to Nagaland’s economic prosperity through the “state-of-the-art facilities and a conducive ecosystem for collaboration.”
The report highlighted that the Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog will be accompanied by his lady wife and a delegation of more than 10 dignitaries which according to the DIPR report underscores the “central government’s unwavering support for initiatives that promote innovation and economic development across the nation.”
In addition to the inauguration, the Vice Chairman’s itinerary reportedly includes a visit to Kohima to pay homage at the War Cemetery, honoring the sacrifices of the soldiers. Furthermore, it said, he will engage with local stakeholders in one of the Aspirational Districts, emphasizing NITI Aayog’s commitment to driving inclusive growth across the country.
