The Dimapur Town Nepali Baptist Church Duncan celebrated Christmas Day with great enthusiasm and devotion, marking the birth of Jesus Christ. The event, themed “God’s Greatest Gift,” underscored the church’s dedication to spreading the message of love, hope, and redemption.

The program commenced with an invocation prayer by Mrs. Romi Sema, setting the tone for a spirit-filled celebration. Pastor Rajen Thapa delivered a powerful sermon based on Luke 2:10-13, highlighting the significance of Jesus Christ’s birth. He encouraged the congregation to embrace the true meaning of Christmas and prioritize weekly devotional services.

“The birth of Jesus Christ is a reminder of God’s love for humanity,” Pastor Thapa said. “As we celebrate, let us focus on spreading love, kindness, and compassion to those around us.”

The celebration featured an array of performances, including a special number by the Youth Ministry, a debut presentation by the Widow’s Group, and additional performances by the Women Ministry and DTNBC Choir. These showcased the dedication and talent of the church’s members.

The church’s ongoing commitment to community service was evident through its outreach programs, including aid for the underprivileged and community projects like public clean-ups and food distribution.

Looking forward, the Dimapur Town Nepali Baptist Church Duncan remains steadfast in its mission to spread the message of love, hope, and redemption. The Christmas celebration was not only a joyous occasion but also a testament to the church’s dedication to serving the community and living out the teachings of Jesus Christ.
