Villagers in Diphupar, Choumoukedima District, are organizing a public rally today to protest against illegal multiple taxation, extortion, kidnapping, and other life-threatening activities affecting their community.
The rally is scheduled to begin at 9:00 amat Airport Junction. It will proceed to Green Park Junction before concluding at the Agri Expo ground. In solidarity with the rally, all local shops have been instructed to close from 8 AM and remain closed until the conclusion of the event.
