Mokokchung, 23 May (MTNews): The District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) Review Meeting for Mokokchung District took place today, Tuesday, 23 May under the chairmanship of MP, Lok Sabha, Tokheho Yepthomi.
During his address, Tokheho expressed his gratitude to all the former and present elected members of the state for their efforts and contributions in the construction of the impressive DC Office Building in Mokokchung. He described it as one of the finest structures in the state. Furthermore, he urged all departments in the district to effectively implement various central schemes and programs in order to uplift the people, especially the underprivileged sections of society.
The meeting included a series of presentations by key officials, including the Project Director of DRDA Mokokchung, Assistant Director of Food & Civil Supplies, Executive Engineer of PWD (R&B), District Agriculture Officer, District Welfare Officer, Superintendent Engineer (Power), Chief Medical Officer, and Executive Engineer of PHED.
Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh IAS delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of coordinated efforts for holistic development. ADC Hq Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtsoe proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for their valuable contributions.
