The District Employment Office/Model Career Centre (MCC) Mokokchung organized a successful National Career Service (NCS) outreach program on September 10, 2024, at Jubilee Memorial School, Mokokchung. The initiative, targeting students of Classes 10 and 12, aimed to provide a wide array of opportunities available through the NCS portal.
The outreach was designed to support students at a critical juncture in their academic journey, as they prepare for board examinations and begin to contemplate their career paths. The NCS team, led by officials from the District Employment Office, presented an in-depth overview of the NCS platform, which offers a comprehensive range of services including job opportunities, skill development courses, and counseling.
The outreach aligns with the government’s efforts to promote the NCS portal across the country, especially in remote areas like Mokokchung, ensuring that students and job seekers can access a vast network of resources to help them in their career journey.
