Mokokchung, November 22 (MTNews): An awareness program cum workshop on Pradhan Mandri Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme sponsored by Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI) was conducted by the District Industries Centre, Mokokchung, at Hotel Whispering Winds on November 18.
The programme was moderated by Purzulu, UDA, DIC Mokokchung while an overview of the PMFME scheme with special mentions on ODOP (one district one product) and the importance of Udyam registration was delivered by Imtiwapang, I.0.I, DIC Mokokchung. This address was followed by PowerPoint presentations on the criteria and guidelines of the PMFME Schemes through the district resource persons (DRPs) Moaakum and Semersungla.
The participants interacted with the resource persons regarding their concerns and opinions on the scheme during and after the program.
