A meeting of the District Monitoring Committee on Accessible Elections (DMCAE) was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner & Electoral Registration Officer, Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtsoe, at the DC’s Conference Room, Mokokchung, on 22nd May 2025.
Assistant Election Officer, Renben Mozhui, highlighted the roles and responsibilities of all committee members. During the meeting, members thoroughly discussed and deliberated on actionable measures to enhance accessibility for PwDs and senior citizens in the electoral process, in line with the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India.
