Nagaland Bible College held its 41st Graduation Service with S. Daniel Ao, Pastor, Nagaland Christian Revival Church, Mokokchung Town, as the convocation speaker at Discovery Hall, NBC Campus on Thursday.

Addressing the program’s graduating students, Ao indicated that the students will meet three tough categories of people when working in the ministry. Citing biblical analogies, he added that the three types of people include “stiff necked people, hypocrites, and individuals who have blinded their spiritual sight.”

 

“It is incredibly difficult and demanding, but it is very intriguing,” he stated, emphasizing the need of preaching the gospel.

 

Ao encouraged and challenged the graduating class to be spiritually prepared and not to be disheartened when faced with adversity, citing examples from the Bible, 2 Timothy 4:2 and Deuteronomy 21:7 8.

 

During the program, Nungsangjenla presented a valedictory address on behalf of the graduating class, claiming: “NBC is like getting out of bed and getting in the couch.” It is truly a second home, she added.

 

Earlier, Temsusangba, Lecturer, NBC, and Mayangchaba Ao, Vice Principal, NBC, expressed greetings on behalf of NBC Foreign partners, while academic prizes were handed by Sam Santhosh Kumar, Academic Dean, NBC, and Dr. Sentila Ao, Principal, NBC conferred and commissioned the graduating class.

 

Graduates conferred and commissioned for the batch of 2022 included Master of Divinity – 7; Master of Ministry -1; Bachelor of Theology – 5 and Bachelor of Ministry – 1.
