Mokokchung, July 6 (MTNews): The price of the non-subsidized liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder has been hiked by Rs 50 each by India’s key oil marketing companies (OMCs) on Wednesday.

Prices of cooking gas vary across the country based on local levies and transportation costs.

This is the third hike in LPG prices since May and fourth this year. Prior to the latest hike, domestic LPG prices were last revised on May 19 when the rate was hiked by Rs 3.50 per cylinder. Before that, LPG was hiked by Rs 50 per cylinder on March 22 and again by the same margin on May 7. Generally, the LPG cylinder prices are revised on the 1st and 15th of every month by the OMCs.
