Bosco Gym was inaugurated on Friday at Don Bosco College Kohima, marking a major step in promoting health and fitness for students and faculty.
The ceremony was graced by Avilie Zuyie, National and International Arm Wrestling Gold Medalist and Champion-Team Winner (Pro Panja League Season 2, 2025), along with representatives from Fusion Fitness Gym.
Earlier, Fr. Dr. Tious Varghese, Principal of DBCK, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the gym’s core purpose “to promote the health and fitness of students and faculty members, and to serve as a mental training facility fostering discipline and resilience.” Attendees toured the facilities and observed equipment demonstrations. DBCK Media Cell stated the gym will enhance wellness and holistic development.
