Mokokchung, 27 October (MTNews): In a generous philanthropic gesture, Moarenba Pongen, the Additional Commissioner of Excise, donated a pair of visitor chairs to the Mokokchung District GB Association at their office last Friday.
Expressing their profound gratitude, President Along Jamir of the Mokokchung District GB Association stated that the donation came at a crucial time as they were in dire need of chairs. This shortage was due to their upcoming inauguration of the GB Hall scheduled for November.
Jamir also announced that Sharingain Longkumer, the Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, has graciously agreed to be the inaugural guest at the event. He further highlighted the vital role played by more than 600 GBs in the district, who tirelessly serve the public.
The visitor chairs were formally received by Mokokchung District GB Association President Along Jamir and Secretary Imlitemsu.
