Kohima, 2 June (MTNews): The Directorate of School Education (DoSE) has announced the launch of ATL Tinkerpreneur 2023 by the Atal Innovation Mission. This virtual summer Bootcamp, scheduled to take place from June to July, aims to equip students with essential digital skills and frameworks to create their online ventures. The program spans seven weeks, culminating in the development of a student-led online venture.
During the previous edition of the Bootcamp, over 5,000 innovative teams participated, with the top 100 teams receiving internship and funding opportunities from the esteemed Indian School of Business.
Every registered team will receive dedicated mentoring support throughout the Bootcamp from the Mentor India initiative. The program is set to commence on June 8th and conclude on July 24th. Students will have until August 6th to submit their pitch decks, showcasing their entrepreneurial ideas.
The Bootcamp includes weekly expert sessions on digital skills, product development, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, hand holding sessions will provide a more focused approach to assist students in their venture creation journey.
The Bootcamp is open to all schools, including those with Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) and those without. Participants will receive certificates, internships, and various attractive opportunities. The deadline for submission of entries is June 5th, 2023.

In light of this development, the Heads of all High and Higher Secondary Schools, both government and private, have been urged to encourage students to participate in large numbers, thereby contributing to India’s innovation journey.
