Noklak struggled to mount any meaningful attacks and rarely threatened in the final third. The only caution of the match was issued to Paotinsat in the 12th minute following a late challenge, though it had little impact on the overall rhythm of Chümoukedima’s dominance.

Their next match is against Dimapur on August 8, which is likely to decide the Group B winners.
