Tsentselong opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a composed finish after breaking free of the defence. He struck again with a powerful kick from the edge of the box in the 57th minute to double the advantage, leaving Kiphire struggling to find a way back. Wokha kept pressing for more goals, knowing they needed not just a win but as many goals as possible, with goal difference likely to determine the fate of the group. Yisanbemo netted Wokha’s third just a minute later in the 58th minute, before Zaremo completed the rout in the 69th minute with a well-taken effort inside the box.

Kiphire showed determination throughout but were unable to breach Wokha’s well-organised defence, ensuring a clean sheet for the victors.

With this result, Wokha moves to 6 points from 3 matches, level with Mokokchung, who has 6 points from 2 games. With Kiphire out of the equation, the final Group C clash between Mokokchung and Phek later today will decide the standings. A Phek win would leave all three teams on 6 points, making goal difference the deciding factor. A draw would see Mokokchung top the group, while a Mokokchung win would secure Wokha’s place as runners-up.
