Mokokchung, 23 August (MTNews): The much awaited Dr T Ao Inter-District Football Tournament has been postponed yet again. The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) has confirmed that the premier tournament will be held from 6 February 2024 in Tuensang to be hosted by Tuensang District Football Association.

When queried why the tournament was postponed, an NFA official told Mokokchung Times that it was “due to time factor and local arrangement reasons” why it could not be held within 2023. It was also informed that the decision to postpone the tournament was made in understanding with the Tuensang District FA.

It may be recalled that the tournament was earlier scheduled to be held from 16-28 October 2023. The local planning committee of the tournament under the aegis of the Tuensang District Football Association (TDFA) later requested that the tournament be held from 13-24 November.

Meanwhile, the NFA has informed that the 3rd Nagaland State Futsal Tournament will be hosted by the CDFA in the month of October 2023. The National Futsal Tournament will be held in November, it added.

  1. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the page layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
