Dimapur, 5 September (MTNews): Highly concerned by the increasing cases of dengue cases in Dimapur, the Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation (DUCCF), with assistance from H Tovihoto Ayemi, MLA & Advisor, Government of Nagaland is conducting a fogging drive in all the wards under Dimapur.
The drive commenced on Tuesday morning at Lakeview Colony with a short prayer and short speeches from Etsungmomo Kikon, President, Naga Council Dimapur and Zasivikho Zakiesato, President, DUCCF. It will cover all 93 colonies under the Dimapur urban area.
Etsungmomo Kikon acknowledged the initiative undertaken by the DUCCF and also appreciated the assistance of Tovihoto Ayemi, stating that dengue cases are rising alarmingly high and is a matter of serious concern for the people. He also asked the masses to be aware of the control measures and prevention methods.
