Mokokchung, 24 September (MTNews): The Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland Mr Yanthungo Patton has expressed deep concern over a video circulating on social media that alleges poor quality shoes have been provided to Nagaland Police personnel. In a tweet posted earlier today, Deputy CM Patton urged the Nagaland Director General of Police to verify the authenticity of the video and take appropriate measures.

 

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “Concerned by the video circulating that suggests poor quality shoes have been provided to Nagaland Police personnel. Urging @DGP_Nagaland to verify its authenticity and take appropriate measures. Ensuring the welfare and safety of our forces is paramount.”

In response, Nagaland DGP Rupin Sharma IPS responded that action has already been initiated.
