In commemoration of the Indian Youth Congress Foundation Day, the District Youth Congress (DYC) Kiphire successfully organized a plantation drive at the Sakhi One Stop Centre office with active participation from its members. Dimapur District Youth Congress also organized a Plantation Drive today along with the rest of the nation on account of 64th Foundation Day of Indian Youth Congress.
In Kiphire, the initiative was carried out with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility, reflecting the spirit of community service among the youth. The DYC members worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the drive, planting trees and enhancing the green cover of the area without any external financial assistance.
Likyüse Sangtam, President of the District Congress Committee (DCC) Kiphire, extended heartfelt appreciation to the District Youth Congress for their commendable effort. He acknowledged the dedication and commitment demonstrated by the youth, praising their ability to take on such a noble cause.

The event served as both an awareness campaign and a demonstration of the youth’s active participation in community development, setting a positive example for others to follow.
In Dimapur, a short programme was held at Dimapur DCC office followed by the tree plantation.
Short speeches were delivered by L Chuba General Secretary NPCC and I/c of Dimapur, X Chophika Sumi President NSUI Nagaland, while vote of thanks was delivered by R Mukhe President Dimapur DYC.
