Longchem, 22 April (MTNews): EAC Longchem N Orenthung Kikon informed that the hailstorm on Thursday at Longchem town damaged about 20 house rooftops and few trees. However, he informed that the impact by the hailstorm cannot be considered a ‘disaster’ and, therefore, the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) may not get involved.
