Mokokchung, 28 October (MTNews): Director of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM), Devi Prasad Mishra and EAC-PM member Sanjeev Sanyal embarked on a trek to the Tüsürü River at Ruzhazo Village, crossing through paddy fields and jhum fields.
Accompanied by Dr Er Vekho Swuro, the State Protocol Officer, Hupasayi Tetseo, village elders, and their entourage, the EAC-PM members trekked to the river. There, they enjoyed a fellowship and a hearty breakfast, which was generously hosted by the Christian Youth Endeavour (CYE) of Ruzhazo Baptist Church, an update received here said.
Reflecting on their practical experience during the trek, Sanyal and Mishra shared that this was a first-of-its-kind experience. They found that gaining this practical experience was a challenging yet memorable and wonderful moment in their lives, from the day they were born until the present. They extended their gratitude to Dr Er Vekho Swuro and the Ruzhazo Village Council for organizing this unforgettable trip, adding that they would cherish the memories for as long as they exist.
During their visit, Sanjeev Sanyal also laid the foundation stone at the Subhas Chandra Bose and Indian National Army (INA) Memorial Park construction site at Ruzhazo. He thoroughly inspected the entire proposed area, expressing hope that the special fund allocation for construction by the Ministry of Art & Culture would meet the expectations of the people of Nagaland.
In addition, the EAC-PM team, along with other dignitaries, visited the recently constructed Helipad at Ruzhazo, which is now operational, under the supervision of the Inspector General of Assam Rifles North (IGAR-N).
Following their eventful visit to Ruzhazo, the EAC-PM team headed towards Kohima for an overnight stay. The EAC-PM team is scheduled to meet government departments, agencies, and other important dignitaries, as well as to visit Kisama, Naga Heritage Village.
