The Ao citizens residing in East Dimapur have come together to form East Dimapur Aor Telungjem (EDAT) on January 17, 2026. A declaratory programme was held at the residence of the Seasonal Chairman, Dr. Temsuwati Ao, at Purana Bazar, which was attended by representatives from all units and well-wishers. EDAT will be led by Dr. Temsuwati Ao as Chairman, Purkumzuk Jamir as Vice Chairman, Ayimkitang Aier as General Secretary, and Supongakum as Joint Secretary.
