The Eastern Naga Students’ Association (ENSA) successfully held its 7th general conference on October 25, 2025, under the theme “Strengthening Unity through Cultural Diversity” at Dimapur Government College Auditorium, Dimapur.

According to a press release received here Wednesday, the conference was graced by Naga Peoples Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR) Secretary General Neingulo Krome as the special guest, and Chuba Ozukum, Convenor of the Global Naga Forum (GNF), as the guest of honour.
The event witnessed solidarity messages and the presence of representatives from several organizations including the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF), All Naga Students’ Association Manipur (ANSAM), Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU), and the Naga Students’ Organization (NSO). Around 450 delegates from various units and subordinate bodies across Nagaland and “beyond artificial boundaries” attended the conference.
During the event, new office bearers for the 2025–2028 tenure were installed. Atimiu Makury was elected as President, assisted by Natong Shungwang as Vice President and Letwang Ranshoong as General Secretary. Lamtheo was appointed as Assistant General Secretary, while Chingpai S Konyak and Sithaw Somra were named Finance Secretary and Assistant Finance Secretary respectively.
Ayan Boba and Puchou were selected as Education and Statistical Secretary and Assistant Education and Statistical Secretary, while N Pulei Konyak and Kenset took charge as Information and Publicity Secretary and Assistant Information and Publicity Secretary. Chingloi was appointed Executive Chairman and Hempao Khiamniungan as Executive Secretary. Suhlithong was named Games and Sports Secretary with Y. Nyakpong Wangsa as Assistant Games and Sports Secretary.
Tsuchoi Khiam and Cwe Kela were assigned as Women Coordinator and Assistant Women Coordinator, while Theu James and Yeilo were chosen as Social and Cultural Secretary and Assistant Social and Cultural Secretary.
The conference concluded with a dedication prayer for the new team offered by Wirl Thaw Mu, Assistant Professor at Shalom Bible Seminary.
